It would be a good idea to incorporate that in the PDA/smart phone functionality. My limitation will be in the Web Development Area but I can always design a UI prototype for it. If your doing this application to assist fitness perhaps the export device/application which goes into the PDA/Smart phone can also have a build in pedometer which can even add statistics to health whilst the user is on the move?
